Our commitment to transparency
Listicle Liaison operates a network of ranking and editorial websites. We believe that transparency about how we make money and how our rankings work is essential to maintaining the trust of both our readers and the companies we feature.
How we make money
We generate revenue through paid listing services on our ranking sites, including claimed profiles, enhanced listings, and featured partner placements. We also generate revenue through paid editorial content on our editorial sites, including listicle inclusions, company spotlights, and premium content packages. Companies pay to be featured, to claim and enhance their profiles, and to have editorial content published about them.
How paid placements affect rankings
They don't. Organic ranking positions on our review sites are determined solely by our scoring methodology, which aggregates user review data, evaluates features, assesses pricing transparency, and considers market presence. Companies cannot pay for a higher organic ranking position.
Featured Partner placements are a separate, premium position that is visually distinct from organic rankings. They appear with a gold border and a "Featured Partner" label. This position is always clearly disclosed and never disguised as an organic ranking.
How we identify sponsored content
All sponsored content on our editorial sites is clearly labeled. Company Spotlight articles that are paid placements include a disclosure indicating they are sponsored. Listicle inclusions that are paid are identified within the article. We never publish paid content without disclosure.
Our data sources
Rankings on our review sites aggregate data from publicly available sources, including G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, Product Hunt, and other verified review platforms. We also incorporate publicly available pricing data, feature information from vendor websites, and market presence indicators. Our methodology page on each site provides detailed information about our scoring criteria and weighting.
Editorial independence
Our editorial team operates independently from our sales and partnerships functions. Companies that purchase paid placements do not receive editorial influence over our rankings, and our editorial coverage is not contingent on commercial relationships. We maintain this separation because our rankings are only valuable if they are trusted.

If you believe any information on our sites is inaccurate, please contact us at editorial@listicleliaison.com. We investigate all reported inaccuracies and publish corrections within 5 business days.
Affiliate relationships
Some links on our sites may be affiliate links, meaning we earn a commission if you purchase through the link at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our rankings or editorial recommendations. When affiliate links are present, they are disclosed.
